On Saturday, June 17, Gila Bend town leaders, patients and Adelante staff gathered to mark the closing of Adelante Gila Bend for a $1.3 million renovation with a Renovation Celebration.

The new and improved Gila Bend health center is expected to re-open in November 2017 and will feature expanded services – including dental care for the first time. In addition, an entirely new interior will provide a healthy, bright, thoughtfully designed space for both patients and staff to be their healthiest.

$1 million of the funding for the renovation has been awarded through a Federal grant, but those funds are contingent on the community providing the additional $300,000.
