PAR WARS GOLF TOURNAMENT 2021

For the past 9 years, Adelante hosted its biggest fundraising event, with various team worked together to make it a fun and successful experience.
This year, Adelante let the course be with them in its “Par War” themed golf tournament event at the Biltmore Golf Club. The event had scenic views of the iconic Camelback Mountain and various activities on the course, including a Beat the Pro station, where participants competed against a golf professional to see who was really the best. Other holes included dressing up like Star Wars characters and taking pictures and a speed hole where participants raced against the clock to get a BB8 or Death Star golf ball into the hole.
A fan favorite was Hole 15, which was adorned with a full bar and luxury lounge seating, where golfers got to spend time with Adelante Healthcare CEO Pedro Cons. Golfers were also able to try the signature Jedi Mind Trick drink of the day.
Golfers, sponsors, and Adelante partners all came together to support a large project this year- the new West Phoenix Adelante Community Healthcare Center. This new facility, which is set to open on November 2, 2021, will serve over 26,000 patients, a 50 percent increase over its previous location.. Located in the former Sports Authority store of the redeveloped Metro Pavilion center, adjacent to the Metrocenter Mall, the 40,000 square foot facility will provide pediatric, OB-GYN, , WIC nutrition program, family medicine, adult medicine, mental health, dental, , and lab services. The facility also features Adelante Care Today, where patients can receive same day treatment. During the post-game lunch, CEO Pedro Cons thanked our sponsors and golfers for their support and spoke about Adelante’s mission and showed the video describing how their support would impact our patients:
The event could not be successful without all the Adelante team members who came together to plan and execute a great event. Adelante is looking forward to the grand opening of the new West Phoenix Facility health center and the continued of Adelante and its impact to our communities.
