Annette Caruso, LCSW

Behavioral Health

Why did you become a behavioral health specialist ?

Because I wanted to impact people’s lives in a positive way. I wanted to be in a position where I assist and support people on their journey to be their best selves.

What do you enjoy or find most fulfilling about caring for patients?

See them achieve their goals, improve how they see themselves and the world they live in.

What attracted you to a community health center for your practice?

I am passionate about working with the underserved, the marginalized.

If you could be anything else, what would you want to be?

I would run a foundation that provided financial support, mentoring, coaching for young girls living in poverty and without access to the kinds of resources that would help them be successful.

Do you have hobbies or a way you like to spend your time away from work?

Outdoors
