Why did you become a doctor?

I’m honored to be a pivotal part in people’s lives, to help them live, grow, and be happy.

What do you enjoy or find most fulfilling about caring for patients?

The best part about my job is the patients. I love getting to know them over time and often get to know their families as well.

What attracted you to a community health center for your practice?

I love working in a place where staff are passionate and really go the extra mile to ensure patient’s get great care.

If you could be anything else, what would you want to be?

I almost became a pilot and an aeronautical engineer. I grew up in a suburb of Seattle so there was a lot of Boeing influence. However, I learned I do not love math so engineering was out of the question.

Do you have children? If so, what are their ages?

I have 3 children ages 2, 4, and 7.

Do you have hobbies or a way you like to spend your time away from work?

Mostly I love spending time with my wife and kids and my family. When I get a free minute to myself I love to be outside – hiking, biking, running, snow skiing.

Do you have a favorite book, movie or TV show?

I have many favorite books – I love reading. My favorite movie changes all the time but my favorite growing up was Good Will Hunting.
